Our meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every month at 7:15PM, except for the months of July and August when we take our Summer break.

APCUG/CAMUG 2012 Regional Computer Conference

The Canton Alliance Massillon Users Group (CAMUG), co-host of the 2012 Regional Computer Conference have identified more than 20 different topic sessions and is currently lining up presenters. Whether you are a computer user or a mobile device user you will find a session that will be beneficial to you. It could even be said that APCUG might stand for Alternative Platform Computing Useful Gadgets. Additionally, the co-host CAMUG might stand for Computers and Mobility Unique Gadgets. If you are using a Windows-based, Linux, Mac or mobile device many programs and applications have cross platform functionality. The early bird registration has begun. The fee for the early bird registration is $50, the regular registration fee is $60, and on site or registration after the 1st of July 2012 will be $75. The Barrette Business and Community Center is the venue for the Conference. The Community Center and the Francoeur Conference Center is located on the Walsh University campus in North Canton, Ohio.

What happened at the January 2011 meeting

This meeting was all about the xbox 360 kinect. Everyone had a chance to see and use the kinect first hand to see how it may change the future of technology forever.
